[Selection Event / Yokohama, Kanagawa] Event Announcement: PCL Asia Rising Stars Asia Final Selection Event
Pickleball Japan (PJ) has decided to select and send two male and two female representative players from Japan to the final event of PCL Asia Rising Stars, to be held in Manila, Philippines, starting November 25, 2026.
This Final is positioned as the official final event of PCL Asia Rising Stars. Selected players will be given international competitive experience and further development opportunities.
At the Final, each team that qualifies will be assigned one professional pickleball player, who will serve as a dedicated coach and mentor throughout the event.
Japan’s representatives will be chosen at a selection event held in Japan. Eligibility to take part in the selection event will be decided by screening the applications submitted.
Travel expenses for the selected players (airfare from Tokyo) and accommodation will be covered by PCL, and the entry fee for the Final will be covered by PJ.
(Please note that all costs incurred while participating in the selection event are the responsibility of the participant.)

| Selection Method | On the day, several matches will be played with pairings randomly reshuffled. Selection will be based on an overall evaluation of match results as well as performance and quality of play during the matches. |
