[PJ-Hosted Tournament / Numazu, Shizuoka] Official Guidelines Published: PJ Numazu Open 2026

Thank you as always for your support of Pickleball Japan’s activities.
We have published the official guidelines for “PJ Numazu Open 2026,” taking place December 5 (Sat) – 6 (Sun), 2026 in Numazu, Shizuoka.
We have also launched a dedicated tournament page.

[October 1, 2026] Participation by Minors
Minors (anyone under 18 as of the first day of the tournament) must submit a consent form from a parent or legal guardian in order to compete. Please download the “Minor Participation Consent Form (PDF)” below, have your parent or legal guardian fill it out by hand, and submit it at check-in on the day of the tournament. Players who do not submit the form will not be permitted to compete. This requirement has also been added to the official guidelines.

[September 28, 2026] About “Player Registration” and “Membership Registration”
What was previously referred to as “player registration” in this notice and in the tournament guidelines is the same as membership registration with our federation. We have unified the wording to “membership registration.” We apologize for any confusion.
Please note that on Tournated, the license name appears as “選手登録（個人）：Pickleball Japan 一般会員” (Player Registration (Individual): Pickleball Japan General Member). This license is the membership registration.

[Important] The event has changed from the international “APP ASIA Series” to “PJ Numazu Open 2026,” hosted by our federation.
This event was originally planned as the international “APP ASIA Series,” but after review, it will instead be held as “PJ Numazu Open 2026,” hosted by Pickleball Japan.
The venue and timing remain unchanged.

[Main Changes from the Draft Guidelines]
· Competition schedule: December 5 (Sat) = Doubles; December 6 (Sun) = Singles and Mixed Doubles
· Doubles entry fee: ¥16,000 (tax included, per pair)
· Check-in times, competition start times, and the capacity of each event have been added
· Membership registration with our federation (2026 season) is required to compete

Venue: Koryo Arena (Numazu City General Gymnasium), 15-1 Miyukicho, Numazu, Shizuoka 410-0832
Competition Schedule: December 5 (Sat) Doubles / December 6 (Sun) Singles and Mixed Doubles
Events: Men’s & Women’s Singles, Men’s & Women’s Doubles, Mixed Doubles (divisions: 19+, 35+, 50+, Open, under DUPR 3.5)
Entry Fee: Singles ¥9,000 (tax included) / Doubles ¥16,000 (tax included, per pair) — a system usage fee and payment processing fee will also apply
How to Enter: Entries will be accepted via Tournated on a first-come, first-served basis
Entry Period: Monday, October 5, 2026, 7:00 PM – Friday, November 20, 2026, 11:59 PM

[Please Read Before Entering]
· Membership registration with our federation (2026 season) is required to compete. If your registration cannot be confirmed by 11:59 PM on Friday, November 20, your entry may be canceled.
· You must obtain a DUPR rating and link your DUPR account to Tournated.
· You may enter only one event per time slot (morning or afternoon).
· The cancellation deadline is 11:59 PM on Friday, November 20.
· The team registration discount cannot be applied after your entry has been completed.
· Minors must submit a consent form from a parent or legal guardian at check-in on the day of the tournament.
