Workshop Content

This workshop teaches you how to introduce pickleball to people trying it for the first time at your team: what kind of sport it is, what the rules are, and what to teach about play and in what order.

The first half is a classroom lecture, the second half is a hands-on explanation in the gymnasium, and finally participants take turns playing the roles of first-time player and instructor.

Future of the Certification Workshops

With the merger of the Japan Pickleball Association and Pickleball Japan, we are preparing to launch a new certification system around this autumn. The existing Coordinator Certification Workshops and Start Coach Certification Workshops will be suspended at the end of August.

This session on Sunday, August 23 in Setagaya, Tokyo will be the final Coordinator Certification Workshop.

If you have already applied for a workshop at another venue and would like to switch to the Tokyo venue, please contact us at the address above.
